Some ideas are just so impossibly brave, they just have to be made - eventually. After five years pinned to the idea wall at Y&R (and who knows how many more rattling around in Tom Paine’s head), it took a ‘hail Mary’ email to the new global CMO at BK. He called back at 3am that morning to say it would happen and would win 20 Lions, it actually won 36.
